AMORIA is an embodied affective agent with persistent states and long-term memory. Rather than being a single AI model, it orchestrates language, speech and vision models to perceive changes in human affect, understand relational context, make its own judgments, and respond through a physical body — how it speaks, pauses, gazes and moves. 

 

Embodied affective agents have been a research vision since the 1990s; AMORIA is KOIBOT's implementation of a new generation of them, in practice today.

 

AMORIA does not claim to read a person's true inner feelings; it observes interaction cues and adapts with care. Memories remain under the owner's control — reviewable and deletable at any time. It is not a substitute for human relationships, medical care or professional support, and is not intended for use in workplace or educational settings, or for assessing individuals.

What AMORIA Means

Inspired by the Latin word amor — love — AMORIA is a name that evokes a state of affection.
We chose it for its resonance rather than its novelty: warm without sentimentality, distinctive without following trends. It names the meeting point of affection, intelligence, and an independent presence — the spirit behind an AI designed not simply to respond, but to keep company.
